Ambassadors Program

One person can make a difference, but together we can make a substantial impact in sub-Saharan Africa! IFESH's Ambassadors are a community of benefactors who help Africans in need through IFESH's education, health and conflict mitigation programs. Ambassadors offer financial contributions and serve as advocates for our work. By partnering with IFESH's self-help programs, together we can continue to dramatically improve the lives of millions of people!

Ambassadors are individuals, families and organizations (such as churches, civic groups, fraternities and sororities) who donate $2,000 per year to IFESH. They are also invited to act as IFESH supporters within their respective communities by promoting our work in Africa and encouraging their friends and colleagues to join the program.

Ambassadors will be listed on our website and featured in our annual report. They will also receive periodic newsletters and will be invited to attend events, including our annual dinner that is held in Phoenix during our August orientation of volunteer educators.

Your membership in the Ambassador program is a tribute to your commitment to the people of sub-Saharan Africa and to the work of IFESH. If you wish, you could sponsor someone else into the Ambassador program as an honorary gesture or in memoriam.

You truly have the power to help!

• It could cover the cost of training ten African teachers for a year; over the course of their careers they will each teach hundreds of children.
• It could supply antiretroviral drugs to 40 HIV-positive pregnant women in order to help prevent them from passing the disease to their unborn children.
